Sashiko is one of those timeless quilting arts. Elegant in its simplicity, sashiko looks difficult, but is quick and easy to do using our simple transfer and stitching techniques. Dating back to at least the 1600's, it was perfected by the Japanese, who used it first as a quilting method, and then as a decorative stitching embellishment.
